The aim of this course is to enhance the skills and abilities to research specific educational issues from a historical perspective through collaborative research on special themes in the history of Japanese education.
This year's research will focus on Saijo Elementary School as a study of the history of local education.

5. Issues in research on the Japanese history of education (1)

7. Research and collection of documents for research on the Japanese history of education
8. Interim presentation of our studies and research

Students must register both of Seminar on History of Japanese and Oriental Education I and II.

Message The class will be conducted assuming you've already had knowledge of Japanese history taught up to senior high schools and the Japanese history of education. Please review yourselves about historical items you didn't understand in class.
