Class Objectives

We will examine the academic ability and competency that school education aims to foster, and consider the academic ability and competency required in school curricula and curricula for each subject in the present and future, by surveying and analyzing research literature and materials related to domestic and international theories of goals, academic ability, and evaluation, as well as research on learning and development.
In particular, this lecture will deal with academic ability and competency in the social sciences.
In addition, each session will include an explanation and practical application of qualitative research methods, and will proceed while analyzing qualitative data.

Requirements This class will focus on the social studies domain, particularly the history subject. 
Grading Method Students will be assessed comprehensively based on their report assignments (60%) and class participation (40%).
