/Class Outline
Class objectives: The course is designed to provide students with the foundational knowledge, methodologies, and skills essential for conducting research in the humanities and social sciences. Classes are tailored to meet each student's academic needs.
Class summary: Regular individual supervision and group tutorials allow students to deepen their understanding of specialised subjects through discussions and question-and-answer sessions with their supervisor. To complete their master's thesis, students must periodically report on their progress and reflect on the feedback they receive. Additionally, students are encouraged to participate in fieldwork and attend selected conferences to enhance their academic experiences.

Review
It is advised that students write a brief progress report and literature review immediately after the first session and continue this practice until the final session. Additionally, students should create a database for their bibliography and maintain a journal documenting the content of each session with their supervisor on a shared platform. Progress reports should be revised based on the supervisor’s feedback. Students should compile a list of questions and share it with their supervisor three days before each session. 
Requirements Those who require special assistance are encouraged to contact their supervisor as soon as possible, ideally before the first class. Reasonable accommodations will be arranged in consultation with the university's Accessibility Center.

Summary of Practical Experience and Class Contents based on it The supervisor and guest advisors bring a wealth of practical experience from working with media and international organisations, including the United Nations and the OECD.
