This class provides individual guidance on Master’s thesis in the field of geo-environmental studies and specialist research. This includes establishing research themes, arranging and sorting subjects of examination, methods of gathering sources, source analysis, understanding the direction of one’s research, progress reports, learning how to present one’s work etc. 
Class Schedule lesson1 Selection of a research theme with an eye on the future course of research.
lesson2 Confirmation of the dissertation theme and clarification of the research topic (the Jomon period).
lesson3 Confirmation of the dissertation theme and clarification of the research topic (the Yayoi and Kofun periods).
lesson4 An explanation of how to search for important documents in the history of research in line with the theme of the dissertation.
lesson5 Explanation of the dissertation chapters.
