Accompany the palliative care team in their activities, learn about comprehensive assessment through meetings and conferences, and practice alleviating physical, mental, psychosocial, and spiritual distress by accompanying case examinations.

Class Objectives
/Class Outline
Learn about comprehensive assessment in palliative care, practice alleviating holistic distress, acquire communication skills with patients, and address ethical issues. Present case reports and aim to obtain certification as a palliative care physician or specialist from the Japanese Society for Palliative Medicine, or certification as a registered psycho-oncologist from the Japanese Psycho-Oncology Society. 
Class Schedule As a member of palliative care team, students do clinical intervention with trainers. The training includes assessment of patient’s symptoms, planning to relief them, and writing case reports.
