/Class Outline
To develop high-level reading comprehension skills based on logical thinking that are essential for those who study at university or graduate school and conduct research in specialized fields. To develop skills of reading reports and editorials texts and to understand main points, outline and structure of contents. Improving reading comprehension will lead to developing skills to create reports and other documents necessary for research.

Students are required for
Preparation: Prepare vocabulary for each lesson
Review: Be sure to review the usage and meaning of difficult-to-understand vocabulary and phrases.
            Reading main texts aloud is advisable after lessons.
 
Requirements ・Students with level 5 or above as per the placement test and are not native speakers of Japanese. Students cannot enroll in classes Level 4 or below.
・Students are required to attend 2 lessons, Advanced Japanese Reading Comprehension B-1 & B-2
 
Grading Method Participation to tasks (such as group discussions, short presentation) in lessons 50%,  Final Report Assignment 30%, quizzes 20%
