Class Objectives /Class Outline |
Through listening comprehension exercises, this course aims to improve students' ability to listen to university lectures and presentations in order to acquire an advanced level of "Academic Japanese," the Japanese language required for university study. At the same time, the objective is to cultivate the ability to express opinions in discussions. Listening comprehension will mainly focus on topics related to Japanese society and culture, but will also cover current events using news and other media related to the topic to further develop vocabulary. Students will also practice developing and strengthening their ability to accurately listen to information and write summaries based on the information they have heard. |
