lesson2 Trends in the semiconductor business (1) Learn about the prospects of cutting-edge technology business and global industry trends from the history of the semiconductor business. Specific topics are as follows: the whole scale of the semiconductor industry (the entire ecosystem encompassing device manufacturers such as Micron, TEL, and other suppliers), the introduction of diversified applications, and end-users in various industrious fields. The topics also cover the origins and evolutions of the semiconductor business and technology, technological innovation and its impact from the perspective of equipment suppliers, requirements for semiconductors from a business viewpoint (such as quality, power consumption, speed, etc.), and demand-supply balance of semiconductors related to recent AI technologies)

lesson4 Trends in the semiconductor business (2) Introducing world trends, Japan's position and challenges, and changes in the presence of Japan's changing industry (including the ecosystem) as a domestic and international comparison, and the positioning of the semiconductor industry in this context, and the importance of demonstrating the value of Hiroshima University. We will also touch on its significance (including avoiding geopolitical risks, utilizing Japan's ecosystem, strengthening supply chains centered on semiconductors, and the Japanese government's industrial promotion strategy).

lesson8 Diversity in business and society Learn the concept and importance of "diversity" (specifically Diversity, Equity/Equality and Inclusion (DEI)), which is an essential concept in global and Japanese society and business. Understand why diversity is necessary in society and business. Moreover, learn about the efforts of companies (such as Micron and Tokyo Electron) to achieve this. Learn about the existence of "unconscious bias" that is behind this, how to recognize unconscious bias in those around you and within yourself, and how to overcome it to achieve diversity and a better society.
