Class Objectives
/Class Outline
In addition to what has been learned in the specialized education courses, the engineering design ability is required for survey, planning, design, construction, management, and maintenance in the civil and environmental engineering field. To acquire the design ability, a lot of knowledge and skills including identifying/ organizing the specialized issues, grasping technologies/ research trends, collecting materials, setting the specific research agenda, choosing experiment/ analysis method, organizing the results, reporting the progress, discovering the new issues, learning presentation methods, etc. are required for the accomplishment of research on specialized filed. The civil and environmental engineering program aims for students to acquire these comprehensive abilities through graduation research. The present course is a preparatory subject to start smoothly the graduation research and obtain better research achievement as well as education effect.
