The aim of this class is to get used to "Scientific English", by using the textbook, "Biology".
It includes,
1) How to read scientific articles and books written in English with the help of scientific and English dictionaries.
2) How to interpret the graphs, tables and symbols used on scientific articles and books.
3) How to pronounce the terms used in biological science.

lesson 2: Pick up and understand the scientific terms shown on chapter 17.
lesson 3: Read and understand the description on chapter 17.
lesson 4: Memorize the important scientific term shown in Figure 7.8. Read the Concept 7.6 of Chapter 7.
lesson 5: Memorize the important scientific term in lesson4. Read the contents in Figure 12.7 of Chapter 12.
lesson 6: Memorize the important scientific term in lesson5. Read the contents of "The Mitotic Spindle: A Closer Look” on Chapter 12.
lesson 7: Study Chapter 13, especially specified parts announced in the class.
lesson 8: Study Chapter 15, especially specified parts announced in the class.

Message This class is mainly held for Japanese students who only have the knowledge of biology with high school level, and who are not used to reading scientific English.
Thus, it may be unsuitable for students who have been educated biology in English. However, foreign students who want to study biological terms in Japanese may be available partly. 
Other The class may be held on Microsoft Teams depending on the epidemic situation of COVID-19 and influenzas.
