The aim of this class is to get used to "Scientific English", by using the textbook, "Biology". It includes, 1) How to read scientific articles and books written in English with the help of scientific and English dictionaries. 2) How to interpret the graphs, tables and symbols used on scientific articles and books. 3) How to pronounce the terms used in biological science. |

This class is mainly held for Japanese students who only have the knowledge of biology with high school level, and who are not used to reading scientific English. Thus, it may be unsuitable for students who have been educated biology in English. However, foreign students who want to study biological terms in Japanese may be available partly. |
