Preparation and
Review
The research papers related to your research study should be read carefully, and the obtained knowledge will be utilized for your research study.
Requirements You need to have careful investigations on your research study, and discuss the results with your colleagues including your supervisors. You need to grasp any problems on your research study and consider a means to solve the problems.
Grading Method Five Evaluation Criteria for Research (Each criterion approximately 20%)
1. Attitude toward Research Activities
This criterion evaluates the student’s proactive attitude, intellectual curiosity, perseverance, and understanding and practice of research ethics, all of which form the fundamental qualities expected of a researcher.
2. Understanding of the Research Topic
This criterion assesses the depth of understanding of the background and significance of the research topic, knowledge of previous studies, appropriateness of the research question, and logical thinking applied in defining the research scope.
3. Implementation of Experiments and Data Analysis
This criterion evaluates the planning and design of experiments, accuracy and creativity in experimental techniques, reliability of obtained data, and appropriateness of data analysis and interpretation of results.
4. Presentation of Research Outcomes
This criterion assesses the clarity and structure of the presentation, comprehensibility of presentation materials, logical coherence, and overall presentation skills in effectively communicating the research outcomes.
5. Discussion on Research Outcomes
This criterion evaluates the appropriateness of responses during the Q&A session, critical thinking ability, flexibility in addressing questions, and the depth of discussion supported by scientific reasoning and evidence.
