Class Status within Educational Program (Applicable only to targeted subjects for undergraduate students) | This is a mandatory 2-credit course for all students.
Given the increasing diversity in learning experiences up to high school, the characteristics of incoming students have also become more varied. Some students may be accustomed to passive learning and may struggle to adapt to the self-directed learning emphasized at university. Additionally, at the beginning of their university life, students may have relatively few opportunities to experientially understand the excitement and enjoyment of academic pursuits.
In light of these student circumstances, the Liberal Arts Seminar aims to actively engage freshmen in learning activities, providing opportunities to foster intellectual curiosity. It also facilitates communication between students and faculty, as well as among students themselves, contributing to the formation of a learning community.
For more details, please refer to the syllabi of each faculty. |
