This course explores methods of incorporating expressive play into childcare and education. Through hands-on experiences with various expressive techniques, such as musical play and theatrical play, students will develop practical skills applicable in educational settings. The course introduces expressive techniques including musical play, instrument making, songwriting, eurhythmics, and theatrical play. As a culminating activity, students will dramatize a picture book using these expressive techniques. |
