This course explores methods of incorporating expressive play into childcare and education. Through hands-on experiences with various expressive techniques, such as musical play and theatrical play, students will develop practical skills applicable in educational settings. The course introduces expressive techniques including musical play, instrument making, songwriting, eurhythmics, and theatrical play. As a culminating activity, students will dramatize a picture book using these expressive techniques.

Grading Method Students will be evaluated based on a total of 100 points: 50 points for their work on the assignments presented in class and the results of their work, and 50 points for the stage production as a summary of the class.
