Class goal We expect to be able to: 1. outline the relationship between stress and mental/physical diseases. 2. explain psychosocial problems and necessary supports in a healthcare setting. 3. explain the psychological supports required for various health activities. 4. outline the necessary psychological supports during a disaster.
Brief summary This class will outline the theories regarding health and medical psychologies, such as psychological stress theory, and psychological supports based on these theories. Through this lesson, we hope that you will learn how psychology is contributing in the health and medical fields, and that you will acquire the necessary basic knowledge and skills as a supporter. |

We will outline the theories for stress, depression, anxiety and health behavior, and introduce psychological supports based on these theories. We hope that the theories and supports covered in class will be practiced in your life and will deepen your understanding. We also would like to look back on what you worked on in the class after the class. |
