This course provides basic and fundamental content related to high school geography and history education in secondary social studies education, and develops the skills and abilities of students with a focus on the three points of curriculum, class, and evaluation.

You will be able to overview the theory of the goals of geography and history education, the theory of curriculum, the theory of lesson composition, and the theory of evaluation, and you will be able to point out various problems and issues in the practical application of geography and history education.

1st - 4th
Based on the textbook and handouts, we will organize the goals, curriculum and evaluation theories of geography and history.
5th - 12th
Based on the handouts, gather information related to each lecture. Analyze case studies from multiple perspectives and consider various improvement proposals.
13th - 15th
Collect examples of lessons in high schools with a diverse range of students, and diversify the image of students. Think about how to combine the theories of lesson composition you have learned in the lectures in order to realize geography and history education that matches the actual situation of students, and create your own image of a teacher.
