"The purpose of this course is to give students with opportunities to enhance their skills to express with music and to establish good understanding of music theory which is the basics of expression. These are the fundamental knowledge and skills needed for teaching music lessons. Based on what the students learn through this course, the students will examine key points of teaching music in elementary school.

Class Schedule Lesson 1: Orientation – Exploring Activities, Learning Materials, and Textbooks in Elementary School Music Education
Lesson 2: Basics of the Staff Notation, Alternative Notation Systems, Conducting Basics and Practice 1, and Children's Agency in Musical Expression
Lesson 3: Note names and scales, head voice production, basics and practice of conducting.
Lesson 4: Various expressions using voice, children's subjectivity in expression.
Lesson 5: Utilization of recorders and keyboard harmonicas.
Lesson 6: Various instruments in the music room, electric instruments, and electronic instruments.
Lesson 7: Chords and harmonic symbols.
Lesson 8: Key points in forming ensembles - considering decision-making methods.
Lesson 9: Sound Play and Improvisational Expression
Lesson 10: Practical Exercises in Music Composition – Focusing on the Role of Musical Elements
