This course aims to help students gain basics of Lithuanian, a representative language of the Baltic branch, and its historical grammar, as well as methods in Indo-European Studies.

Students are required  to make a thorough review for each class and to do assigned exercises in andvance. 
Requirements It is recommended to take this class along with the class "Seminar in Modern Linguistics" in winter semester.
