Class Objectives /Class Outline |
To understand the development of the ancient Chinese divination text, the Zhouyi(周易), particularly during the Han Dynasty, through Li Dingzuo(李鼎祚)'s Tang(唐) Dynasty "Zhouyi Jijie" (周易集解). To cultivate the ability to interpret annotations that employ the Xiangshu Yi(象数易), which emphasizes symbolic and numerological analysis. Same lecture content as A, but C students will be required to gain deeper understanding. |
