Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to: ・Deliver a short lecture on their own field, considering some issues for students’ better educational outcomes. ・Develop a course syllabus related to their expertise and explicitly explain how their pedagogical ideas and philosophy are linked to it referring to educational theory and conceptualisations. ・Discuss their opinions about ethical issues in today’s university education. |

All course materials are provided on our Moodle page. Course participants are required to submit their assignments at designated panes. Any course participants of “Basic Preparing Future Faculty Course” should be enrolled in “Basic Preparing Future Faculty Course”. |

Excellent: 90 points or higher Superior: 80-89 points Good: 70-79 points Fair: 60-69 points Poor: less than 60 points (fail). |

Message |
This course provides students with an understanding of the academic profession, basic knowledge and skills in designing university courses through a series of lectures and workshops coordinated by a variety of faculty staff members. Students will be aware of their own and others’ educational ideas and opinions while engaging in reflective practices, which will help them design their future courses. Students will be exposed to course participants’ uniqueness and diversity which are increasingly common in today's university settings. Students will cultivate their broad pedagogical perspectives as future university faculty members. |
