Class Objectives

This course is for fieldwork, which is a research activity performed inside and/or outside of Japan.  
Class Schedule ① Students need to discuss with their supervisor and make a fieldwork implementation plan. Submit the implementation plan to the IDEC Office before they start fieldwork.
② Students conduct their fieldwork based on their fieldwork implementation plan.
③ Students are expected to spend a minimum of 2 weeks for their fieldwork. However, the fieldwork should not interfere with other important activities, such as attendance at regular courses.
④ Upon the completion of the fieldwork, students should submit the following documents to their supervisor: 1) Fieldwork Report written by the student, whose minimum length is 4 pages in A4 format, and 2)Application for Recognition of Credits.  The final deadline of the submission is the end of the following semester.    
⑤ Supervisor will grade based on the student report including the student achievement.
