2 days of intensive on-site lectures (Tuesday, September 17nd and Wednesday, September 18th)
- Day 1: 90 minutes x 4 sessions = 360 minutes (1st to 4th sessions)

This course is designed to give students an opportunity to acquaint themselves with basic understanding of what start-ups and who founders are and how venture capital works as a business model.

The class will consist of lectures, discussions, team business presentation followed by open book examination at the end of the class, which are all made in English.

Each student is expected to draft his or her unique business plan based on unique business idea. Class will be split into three teams where team members choose which business idea Team should adopt for Team presentation for fund raising.

Grading Method ・40% on class participation
・50% on team presentation
・10% on short question test 
Practical Experience Experienced  
Summary of Practical Experience and Class Contents based on it Engaged in financial business for over 40 years including but not limited to such sectors as: 1) commercial bank, 2) investment bank, 3) turnaround private equity fund, 4) growth capital, 5) venture capital, 6) public-private partnership (PPP, so called “KANMIN Fund” model). All lectures are based on these hands-on business experiences.
