Class Objectives
/Class Outline
This class aims to teach how to make a good presentation (in particular, structure and preparation for ppt slides). Furthermore, to have opportunities of inter- and trans disciplinary discussions to develop master and PhD research projects in environmental studies, the seminar organize as follows. The first half of the course is a lecture on how to make a good presentation. We will learn how to make a good structure of the presentation contents, how to make good ppt slides and how to give an good oral presentation with textbook. The second half of the course is for student presentation. In each class, two or three master or PhD students will present their research projects with applying the knowledges and skills they have learned in the class. Then interdisciplinary discussions follows with students and professors from different disciplines.
