Students learn experimental techniques on optics or particle physics.
There are opportunities working with collaborators in other institution and perform experiments at facilities outside.
Computer simulation can be a main tool for some topics.

Class Objectives
/Class Outline The aims of this study are to acquire technical knowledge and experiment technique for the research in the field of quantum matter as well as to provide guidance to write master’s thesis.
Particle physics or quantum information is a main topics of the course.

Class Schedule Students take a seminar  on gauge  theories or quantum physics as an introduction.
Main theme of master thesis are usually on particle physics or quantum information.
Students may have chance to give presentation in workshops or JPS meetings.

Tutorial is conducted to acquire knowledge and technique needed for research.
