The aim of this seminar is to acquire the fundamental academic knowledge, logical thinking and the ways of communication needed as a researcher of a specialized field and a professional engineer. 
Class Schedule Read text and discuss

Students will learn about the specialized fields through reading and discussion on thesis, presentation in seminars and presentation in academic conferences about the fields such as electron theory of solids, computational physics, strongly correlated electron physics, magnetism, low temperature physics, high energy physics, beam physics, accelerator physics and functional materials for hydrogen.

Requirements Seminars on Sciences of Matter are allowed to be taken several semester and they can be qualified up to 4 credits. 
Grading Method Assessment is to be conducted comprehensively based on attitude, report and presentation and so on.

Summary of Practical Experience and Class Contents based on it Experimental studies of condensed matter physics by means of crystal growth, measurement of physical properties, neutron scattering, x-ray diffraction using synchrotron radiation, data analysis, modeling and numerical simulation.
