In developed countries, utilization of existing buildings is an important issue. In particular Japan, it has just begun. Therefore, this lecture aims to learn expert knowledge and method about the building planning for utilization of existing buildings.

Review practical examples given in lessons, and understand relationships between such practices and theory/principles 
Requirements It is required to have specialized knowledge about  “Architectural Planning”, “Architectural Design”, “Buildings Construction”, “Management” and other Architectural Engineering bases in Japan. Graduate students majoring in architecture are required. 
Grading Method Evaluation will be based on reports and presentations, also the latitude of participating relevant discussions.
