Powders are used as raw materials and products in various industrial processes. Powders, which are aggregates of particulate solids found as raw materials and products in various industrial processes, will be reviewed, including their behavior and control methods in dry powder handling processes. In particular, the evaluation methods of adhesion and flowability of powders and their application to the design of process equipment will be lectured with the latest research examples.

Since the handouts include excerpts from the slides used in the lecture, it is advisable to review the oral explanations given in the lecture by taking notes on the slide excerpts. 
Requirements  
Grading Method The students will be graded on the basis of their responses to the exercises in the lecture (50%) and the final report (50%). Sixty percent or higher score will be needed to get the credit.
