Class Objectives /Class Outline |
Functional molecules used in the design of biomaterials such as synthetic polymers, polysaccharides, polypeptides, and nucleic acids will be reviewed from the basics to the latest applications. Methods for evaluating the structure and physical properties of biomaterials will also be lectured in this class. The purpose of this class is to understand the latest papers related to biomaterials in detail through this course. |
Class Schedule |
lesson1: Guidance lesson2: Overview of biomaterials lesson3: Polymer reaction and supramolecular chemistry lesson4: Self-assembly lesson5: Natural polymers (polysaccharides, polypeptides, and nucleic acid) lesson6: Synthetic polymers (biodegradable polymers and stimuli-responsive polymers) lesson7: Drug delivery systems (Design and property-1) lesson8: Drug delivery systems (Design and property-2) lesson9: Regenerative medicine and tissue engineering (Design and property-1) lesson10: Regenerative medicine and tissue engineering (Design and property-2) lesson11: Bioimaging-1 (Fluorescence imaging, Photoacoustic imaging) lesson12: Bioimaging-2 (MRI, PET) lesson13: Introduction of literatures on biomaterials by students-1 lesson14: Introduction of literatures on biomaterials by students-2 lesson15: Introduction of literatures on biomaterials by students-3
