Class Objectives
/Class Outline
This course will help you acquire a wide range of skills to identify problems as well as specialized knowledge (including research ethics), experiment techniques and other skills and abilities to pursue research in the field of Applied Chemistry. In this course, you will also receive research guidance to write your Master’s Thesis. 
Class Schedule To acquire various knowledge and skills required to pursue research in the field of your specialty, you will receive personal instruction. In this course, you will engage in a variety of activities including setting a highly specialized, concrete research goal, identifying issues to be examined, learning how to collect materials, participating in rinko sessions (where each student in turn gives a presentation about a paper on a topic of his/her specialty), learning experiment methods, analyzing experiment results, keeping up on research trends, reporting on progress, and learning how to present your research results.
