Class Objectives
/Class Outline
This course endeavors to provide hands-on training for conducting research with proficiency and innovation in chosen subjects, namely elementary particle physics, nuclear physics, astrophysics, astronomy, solid state physics, and/or synchrotron radiation sciences. The objectives encompass the acquisition of expertise in gathering scientific data, devising and refining research methodologies, operating scientific apparatus, scrutinizing data, interacting with researchers from diverse domains, and composing abstracts and manuscripts.

Class Schedule This class is a seminar style exercise to obtain common abilities and skills for physics research.  Students are to make research plans based on up-to-date information, to discuss how to convey their results to people in other fields, and to learn how to proceed with
advanced research.  Students are grouped into several classes to ensure opportunities of presentations.  The materials to be treated depend on each class, while the objective and goals are the same in all classes.  This class works on particle physics and quantum physics.
