The students will learn basics on thermal quantum field theory and its application to elementary particle physics, hadron physics, and astrophysics.  
Class Schedule Lessons 1-2    : Quantum statistical mechanics
Lessons 3-4    : Functional integral representation of the partition function
Lessons 5-6    : Interactions and diagrams  
Lessons 7-8    : Spontaneous symmetry breaking and restoration
Lessons 9-12  : Heavy ion collisions
Lesson 13       : Nuclear matter
Lessons 14-15: Neutron stars  

Assignments will be given for each subject.
