/Class Outline
All PhD students have to present their PhD project on Contrastive Linguistics in the first semester. At the presentation, the PhD student is expected to describe the goal and challenges of his/her project and to explain its originality in regard to the current research standard. The student should develop presentation skills to address a scientific audience.

Prior to the presentation a handout should be distributed to the participants for their preparation. On the other hand, the audience of the presentation is supposed to ask clarifying questions, make critical comments and challenge the conceptual framework.
