To be able to conduct action research concerning school management and improvement

Graduate school students will conduct RV-PDCA in practice and obtain portfolios in order to study school management and improvement. Through this process, students will develop their leadership abilities. University teachers (supervisors and researchers) will confirm progress status on a regular basis in cooperation with principals of the schools. Also, they will provide advice and instructions concerning the current status of the schools.
Class Schedule Action Research Practicum in School Management III is coordinated with Action Research Seminar III. In Hiroshima Prefecture and City, school management is based on Management By Objective (MBO), which integrates school evaluation and teacher evaluation. Because of this background, PV-PDCA cycle will be implemented in accordance with MBO.
【April.-July.】
Graduate students will accumulate portfolios in accordance with the RV-PDCA cycle. (Based on the portfolio, students will reflect on the practice of school management and improvement in Action Research Seminar III. )
