Through field survey and trial exercises concerning cross-cultural understanding and instruction methods of Japanese educaton as a foreign language, we aim to consider some issues in practical use, such as the current situation of Japanese education as a foreign language in different cultures, classroom management, classroom activities, etc.

About the culture of appointed overseas educational institutions and the states, perform the fact-finding about various problems of the cross-cultural experience for the foreign student, if there are any foreign students, do the same activities related to that person.
Analyze the teaching materials and a syllabus used in overseas educational institutions and learn about introduction methods and exercise methods of a beginner's class grammar practically
Having an observation of class, and make a report
About the analyzed teaching materials, make lesson plan in line with the class degree of progress and do exercises (two times of one person) of the teaching practice. A state of the training is videotaped and conduct a self assessment. 
Requirements Hoped for to students who have taken Japanese Language Curriculum Design and Methods of Teaching Japanese as a Second Language. 
Grading Method Report on living survey on targeted culture (15%), Class analysis report (15%), Teaching materials analysis report (15%), Lesson plan (25%),trial lessons(20%)attendance(10%)

Message This class is very important for the students who will be able to ready for teaching Japanese overseas. Positive attitude is required. The scheduled visiting countries are China, South Korea, Indonesia, New Zealand, Thai, Sri Lanka.
