Through philosophical observation of educational theories and issues, fosters advanced insights for educational phenomenon. Also, provides understanding on philosophical research method and ways of thinking for education through review of trend and methodology of educational philosophy research.

"Selects concrete opinions concerning education, clarifies their concepts/logical structure/assumptions. Also, scrutinizes results of educational philosophy in a critical manner, and seeks other possibilities.
 Above activities to be conducted with lectures and classroom discussions on reading assignment. Be sure to submit critical essay on reading assignment prior to the lesson."

Since contents to discuss in each lesson are indicated as report theme beforehand, finish the task, and attend the class.   
Requirements Course style is discussion-oriented, regarding the reading theme. 
Grading Method Students to be assessed by class attendance (attendance, remarks) (40%).  Every time, assignments for the next week to be given (60%).  Assignments should be summarized in mini-report in one page in A4 sized paper.  The assigned mini-report to be assessed and returned.  The final assessment of assigned mini-reports to be the average of top 7 reports.  (Including un-submitted reports, the reports with  the lowest marks will not be counted in assessment.)
