The aims of this course are to (1) help students have academic and practical knowledge on the organization and guidance of curriculum for children with hearing impairments, (2) help students to deepen understanding of how children with hearing impairments and their parents can improve and overcome learning and living issues.

Lesson 6: Hearing management and auditory learning for the hearing impaired (Shinkai)

Lesson 8-12: Consider impact of hearing impairments to language acquisition and subject learning.
Lesson 13: Consider impact of hearing impairments to developing self-esteem.

Requirements It is desirable that student will have a basic knowledge of education for deaf and hard of hearing children. 
Grading Method Students to be comprehensively assessed by material collection ability (20%), report material completion (30%), discussion participation (20%), understanding of learning content (30%).
