Current problems on technology (Monozukuri) and programming educations for juveniles (children in elementary and junior high schools) will be understood from logical aspect. Based on such understandings, participants will propose preliminary studying materials for the solution of problems. The participants will acquire, through the class, basic capacities to manage technology and programming classes in respective schools. |

Class Objectives /Class Outline |
Participants will choose problems on technology (Monozukuri) or/and programming educations for juveniles and will propose preliminary studying materials for the solution of them. The choice must be by discussions basic understandings in juvenile education. The class will go along the sequence of 1. Problem choice, 2. Literature research, 3. Analyzing problems, 4. Proposing research plan, 5. Basic experiment, 6. Development of studying materials, and 7. Presentation of the research results. An ICT robot for fostering humanity and sociality will be introduced as an example. Through the class, basic and practical capacities to manage technology and programming classes in respective schools. |

Literature research 1: Clarifying current problems on technology (Monozukuri) and programming educations. 4. Literature research 2: Search for solution. 5. Planning studying materials for solution. 6. Experiment for searching solution 1: Experiment of studying materials related to daily life and social problems. 7. Experiment for searching solution 2: Data collection. 8. Experiment for searching solution 3: Data analysis. 9. Experiment for searching solution 4: Discussion and conclusion of the experiment. 10. Development of studying material 1: Planning (framework). 11. Development of studying material 2: Choosing a plan. 12. Development of studying material 2: Choosing a plan. 13.
