Class Objectives /Class Outline |
In this lesson, students study several topics relating to the principles of organization and management of subject curricula and teacher education from comparative and historical perspectives through reviewing literature in the field of education in Japanese and in English including the course of study and national curriculum. Class 1 (in charge: Isozaki) handles STEM education, class 2 (in charge: Saito) focuses on physical and health education, and class 3 (in charge: Kawaguchi) deals with cases on social studies and citizenship education. Through these processes, students learn the theories and methods for teaching and research to becoming a teacher who continuously develops their profession or an education researcher in the future. |
