Class Objectives
/Class Outline
Class Theme and Objectives
To discuss the purpose, materials and contents, and the logic behind the development of inquiry-based learning activities that incorporate experiments. In addition, practical skills for creating effective learning activities in the laboratory will be developed.
The purpose of this class is to learn the basic conceptual understanding of the field of physics, and to develop practical skills for designing inquiry-based learning activities that incorporate experiments.
Outline of the class
Each student or group of students will select a theme for a demonstration experiment or student experiment to learn the basic concepts of physics. After understanding the current situation and problems related to the theme based on literature review, students will plan learning activities in the laboratory, present the contents, and discuss them with all students. Based on the results of the discussion, the students will establish concrete measures for learning activities. Based on the results of trying out the learning activities created in this way with the students, we will evaluate the learning activities, consider their significance, and acquire guidelines for designing effective learning activities using the laboratory as a learning space.
