This class provides individual guidance on Master’s thesis in the field of geo-environmental studies and specialist research. This includes establishing research themes, arranging and sorting subjects of examination, methods of gathering sources, source analysis, understanding the direction of one’s research, progress reports, learning how to present one’s work etc. |

Class 1; Selection of a research theme with an eye on the future course of research. Class 2; Confirmation of the dissertation theme and clarification of the research topic (the Jomon period). Class 3; Confirmation of the dissertation theme and clarification of the research topic (the Yayoi and Kofun periods). Class 4; An explanation of how to search for important documents in the history of research in line with the theme of the dissertation. Class 5; Explanation of the dissertation chapters.
