Class Objectives
/Class Outline
The seminar lasts two semesters. The topic is the two Austrian authors Ilse Aichinger and Ingeborg Bachmann. Various works by the two authors will be discussed, especially essays and short stories. We will also read letters from the correspondence between the two.
The seminar is a reading seminar; only German texts will be read and interpreted.
Grading will be based on student participation.
 
Class Schedule Depending on the students' interests and abilities, different kinds of communicative exercises are held in this seminar.
