Conduct reserach on Japanese ancient literature, focusing on poems and tales written in the Heian period. Lectures will be exercise centered. Students are expected to develop ability to conduct reserach and to read critically. In terms of books and materials that have not yet been reserached, conduct basic research. As for materials that have been researched, learn challenges that exsiting research methods have, and try to solve the problems. This year, we will study "Ochikubo"
