Class Objectives

Select basic themes and latest research findings from among the field of the history of ancient Chinese thought, and teach this content to students. The aim is for students to gain an understanding of the impact of recently excavated material upon research into the history of intellectual thought during the period, and to deepen their understanding of the issues involved in the research of pre-Qin, Qin, and Han intellectual thought.|
This year, the lectures will discuss issues related to Beidajian(excavated texts purchased by Beijing University) and Qinghuajian(excavated texts purchased by Qinghua University).
