To deepen the understanding of current research trends regarding material cycling in soil ecosystem (plant-soil),  soil functions for plant production, assessment of soil microorganisms, and occurrence and control of soil-borne diseases by investigating research papers.  
Class Schedule Students inevstigate research papers relevant to the following sujects and present them in English.

① Material cycling in soil ecosystem (plant-soil)
② Environment conservation in soil ecosystem (plant-soil)
③ Nutrient and water supply from soil
④ Activity of soil microorganisms in rhizosphere
⑤ Soil environmental assessment
⑥ Control of soil-borne diseases
⑦ Improvements of physical, chemical and biological properties of soil by organic amendments
