<Course description> As a master's degree prepared nurse, students will learn to conduct research studies by her/his own through this course (Starting point). Students understand the research process/steps and acquire attitude of ethical consideration related to research. <Objectives> Throughout the course, students will be able to; 1. To resolve/improve clinical issues, explore research questions, collect and review literature, and critically analyze them. 2. Develop a research conceptual frameworks. 3. Select a right research method/research design. 4. Describe right samples/participants conditions (inclusion and exclusion criteria) 5. Think an appropriate approach method/intervention method. 6. Following the seminar, students proceed his/her own work step by step. Will check and advice weekly. |
Requirements |
For English-speaking students, instruction will be provided in English. For Japanese-speaking students, instruction will be provided in Japanese. Distance students will participate via online (teams).
Thesis guidance will be provided once a week. (Guidance will also be provided via email and Skype.) Once a week, jointly with the doctoral students and pre-doctoral students, discussions will be held to provide novel/improved medical and nursing care. |
