Learn actual genetic counseling by attending ambulatory medical care of genetic counseling which practice a genetic service at genetic diagnosis and treatment department in Hiroshima University. Receive the guidance by medical geneticist and authorized genetic counselor, and make a record of genetic counseling, and acquire to understand the assessment of client and the meaning of genetic counseling. |
| Class Schedule |
Observe the treatment details and the operation of the Department of Genetic Medicine. Attend the care conference hold regularly by the Department of Genetic Medicine, and positively participate in the exchange of views.
Participate the regular care conference hold by the Department of Genetic Medicine from the second term of the 1st grade. Attendance of the genetic counseling and the clinical conference is implemented from the first term of the 2nd grade. Target on attending 50 cases of the care conference. Make the counseling record which contains the purpose of interview of genetic counseling, pedigree, the progress of the interview, the actual condition, the consideration and the issues. Receive a guidance by the academic superviser after reviewing and revising at the clinical conference.
