・ Discuss the ecological approach and other strategies for achieving a vigorous society with longevity and improving quality of life, with the focus on the individual role in the balance with the ecological system.  
・ Define the major environmental factors such as global, physical, biological, and chemical environments, and describe how these factors effect human health.
・ Understand the steps in regulatory process in terms of risk assessment and management and identify current legislation and regulation regarding environmental issues.
