lesson8: Reading and understanding the research paper
lesson9: Considering specific aims of your research project
lesson10: Considering specific aims of your research project
lesson11: Learning deeply from papers related to the project
lesson12: Learning deeply from papers related to the project
lesson13: Experimental planning
lesson14: Experimental planning
lesson15: Oral presentation

Function and dysfunction of the systems of taste sensing, salivary secretion, mastication, swallowing, feeding control, and emotion will be discussed. Students learn their molecular, cellular and system mechanisms, their physiological relevance, and their pathophysiological aspects caused by functional deficits of specific molecules. The capability of designing the research project and constructing the experimental strategies will be cultivated.
