This “Inclusive Asia” summer course is a part of Inter-University Exchange Project: International  Collaborative  Human  Resources  Development  Program  in  Asia  to  Foster Inclusive Minds. The course consists of lectures, group work etc., which lead up to final presentations conducted together with students participating from abroad (China, South Korea, Thailand, and Indonesia). Students will discuss themes on diversity and inclusion in Asia, and learn about the latest innovative research relating to the course themes.   
Class Schedule 8 consecutive days during summer holidays (including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays)
Day 1 Icebreakers, Student exchange, Campus tour, Town tour (Hiroshima students will guide incoming students)
Day 2 Lecture, Group work on Special education and diversity
Day 3 Rehabilitation laboratory visit (Kasumi Campus), advanced D&I company visit
Day 4 Lectures by advanced laboratories of D&I, group work
Day 5 Peace and culture study (Visit Peace Memorial Park and Miyajima)
Day 6 Lecture (Support for prospective workers with handicapped), workshop
Day 7 Final group presentations
Day 8 Japanese cultural activity

Will be instructed upon registration. Active participation and willingness to interact with overseas students are needed.   
Requirements Individuals cannot register for courses. After the application period (from May onward), selected students will be registered by the secretariat. 
Grading Method Attitude shown during lectures (20%), approach in the group presentations and overall contribution (40%) and final report (40%).
