Class Objectives

These days, Japanese legends and narratives are known in the world through animation, manga, movies, and video games. In this class, we will focus on the legends and folktale that are representative of Japan and their background history (political and cultural history), religions, folk customs. Through this class, students will deepen their understanding of the fundamentals of Japanese culture.

lesson5 About the picture Scrolls of YO-KAI

We will conduct classes for approximately three days between February 10 and February 14, 2025. The exact schedule will be communicated once it is confirmed.

Requirements This course is exclusively for students enrolled in the Morito Institute of Global Higher Education 3+1 Program. In this class, students use Japanese only. Students need to have basic ability for Japanese conversation and reading. 
Grading Method Effort for the class : 50% Japanese speech and report : 50%
