The aim of this course is to learn about the culture and society around Hiroshima and Japan, and to obtain a high level knowledge and ability of Japanese language through a series of lectures, study visits and practices. 
Class Schedule 1. Orientation.
2. Field Trip (Hiroshima Castle, Peace Memorial Park)
3. Special Lecture “Phonetics & Phonology”
4. Special Lecture “Linguistics”
5. SOBA Cooking Class
6. Special Lecture “Vocabulary in Modern Japanese 1”
7. Field Trip (Hiroshima Modern Art Museum, RERF)
8. Field Trip (Miyajima)
